良玉精金とは
穏やかで純粋な性格のこと。
「良玉」は立派な宝玉。
「精金」は不純物のない良質な金属を意味する。
北宋の学者であった程顥の人柄を評した言葉「純粋なること精金のごとく、温潤なること良玉のごとし」が由来。
