亡羊補牢とは
失敗の後に慌てて改善すること。
羊が逃げた後で、その囲いを修繕するという意味で、問題が発生した後でもそれを反省し対策を講ずれば役に立つし、そうすべきであるという教訓。
「羊を亡いて牢を補う」と訓読する。
